Meet our principal interior architect and design studio founder, Sara Maffey.

Sara has a degree in architectural studies cum laude from New York University and an MBA from Yale University. She has been immersed in design and building since she was a child, helping her parents restore historic homes.

Sara has spent her career creating a sense of place from working in construction management in New York City and supporting economic development in communities across the US, to creating a national placemaking service line with Transwestern Real Estate Services and working in global PropTech firms.

Sara is passionate about creating a sense of place for humans to experience places at all scales. She is the founder of Localhippo, which focuses on space activation and community building and of Here Anywhere, a strategic asset repositioning firm.

Sara has continued to feed her love of art and design through her extensive global travel and time living abroad, experiences that directly influence her inspiration and design sensibility.

Sara is based in Atlanta where her home is drenched in hues of green and features a garden oasis and eclectic collection of art and furnishings.
